Skin Needling also known as Percutaneous Collagen Induction (PCI) involves puncturing the skin with tiny needles, which is going to stimulate the collage and elastin production.
This treatment is very effective on specific lines and wrinkles, full face rejuvenation, post acne scarring and enlarged pores.

WHAT IS SKIN NEEDLING?
WHAT IS SKIN NEEDLING?
Skin Needling Dermapen or PCI (Percutaneous Collagen Induction) involves puncturing the skin with tiny needles, which is going to stimulate the collagen and elastin production.
This pain-free unique needling technology can be used on all skin types with no risk of post-inflammatory hyper-pigmentation that can occur with fractional laser and other light based therapies. You can look forward to tighter, smoother, younger looking skin with little or no downtime.
HOW IS THE TREATMENT ADMINISTERED?
Skin needling procedures are performed in a safe and precise manner with the use of the sterile disposable DermaPen needle head. The procedure is normally completed within 30-60 minutes depending on the required treatment.
The technician gently moves the DermaPen over the skin to puncture the epidermis layers of the skin and create mini sub-cutaneous injuries. These microscopic wounds stimulate new collagen deposition, which may last for up to a year.
HOW LONG BEFORE YOU WILL SEE RESULTS?
Typically, you will see results after the first treatment. More significant and longer-lasting results will occur after 3 to 5 treatments. Your skin will continue to improve over the next 6 to 12 months after a course of treatments and when combined with the recommended post-treatment care.
IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME AFTER THE TREATMENT?
You may experience facial redness for 12-48 hours after your treatment. Most people are able to return to normal daily activities immediately after their treatment. Mineral make-up can be applied to cover any redness; occasionally you may experience dry flaky skin for 1-2 days.
IS SKIN NEEDLING PAINFUL?
A topical anesthetic is applied prior to treatment if client request it. Tolerance level is different for each individual. However, most clients will say that they felt no pain or a slight sensation that was minimal and tolerable.
INDICATION
Specific lines and wrinkles, full-face rejuvenation, post-acne scarring (pitted), atrophic scarring (chickenpox) enlarged pores, stretch marks.
CONTRAINDICATION
Pregnancy, clotting disorders, roaccutane use in the last 6 months, dermatitis or infection in the area to be treated, history of keloid scars or abnormal wound healing.
